You saw the closing curtain
You took a final bow
You slipped into forever
There is no sunshine now
The floor is almost empty
The music's out of tune
The dance is awkward motion
Death claimed you far too soon
Thanks for your contributions
Thanks for the way you gave
Thanks for your loving kindness
These memories we'll save
Let us feel your energy
Let us sense your touch
Let us perceive your presence
Your spirit means so much
Come back again for greetings
Return for the encore
You deserve an ovation
Take center stage once more
