Some Thoughts

James Johnson 1952 (Algoma, WV)

Some Thoughts

Lord, Lord, what has gone wrong
Do I have a choice of what sex
I want to be
I thought You created a woman for me
Is it Satan's hex or fools we elect

Lord, Lord, what has gone wrong
They refuse to teach youngsters
to be wise
It this why they do not understand
And make spies and tell all the lies

Lord, Lord, what has gone wrong
It is as no one cares about your message
In order to live
I beg Your pardon if I hurt their feelings
It is my turn to deal and I am real

Lord, Lord, what has gone wrong
The world is in rebellion and not heaven
I know you see
You may have to throw another stone
From heaven to knock sense into stupidity

Lord, Lord, with all that is gone wrong
I pray for change and serenity that is real
In order that all sees
That you are not only the only Father
But the Maker and still the Taker

Through Jesus Christ
Amen!

Most of my work is done within minutes after thoughts and visions. I hope you can interpret and enjoy the benefits of my poetic guidance and input. more…
