Corruption

James Johnson 1952 (Algoma, WV)

Corruption

Gun shots ring out
A day before election
the towns people shout
Why oh why without a doubt

This small town in poverty
Officials can not you see
Over a measly few pesos
You still bother me

Is it because of your greed
this country is in need
Is it because you are corrupt
causing children never to succeed

Molded and mended by idiots
Gun shots ring out
Tots cry in the PI
You still lie

Money launder under the table
Next time maybe you should pout
Your country is too unstable
And that is why you are out

Most of my work is done within minutes after thoughts and visions. I hope you can interpret and enjoy the benefits of my poetic guidance and input. more…
