Soaring high

Soaring high

Soaring high above all clouds,
Dipping over and under,
Showing no fear of lightening  or thunder.
Higher than any bird ever knew,
Into a sky of perfect blue.

I reach a place no one has ever seen,
A  hill up high of perfect green,
It seems I've been here for many hours,
Hovering over a mound of flowers.

So many beautiful colors, and so clean,
Is it real or just another dream,
Drifting and spining back to earth,
Fighting with all my might and worth.

I land on my feet safe and sound,
Just a little soiled, from the dirt of the ground.
Into a dark place known as earth,
Also the place of my birth.

Somehow I feel the sky is where I belong,
When soaring high I feel strong,
To live in the clouds seens like a dream,
But it sure felt real dancing on a  beam.
