Slipping On Polished Atom

Let me sift,
the hot solvent,
Of my golden spittoon
Star-dust,
Through seven filters
of element,
And mosaic of gender.
/Distill the vital essence
Of jeweled spirit,
To emerge in shadow petals
Of person hood,
on your altar;
While the dance of duality
Breaths me. . .
/Coming to know, each
Inhalation and exhalation
Is worshiping the only
comfort,
That of balance. . . .
And enlightenment,
Is enjoying. . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . .. ... . . . . . . . . . the fall.

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition.
