Silent grave

Silent they all are,

Saying their prayers,

Bowing their head low,

A man is talking,

A child is crying,

Forever be missed,

The birds are listening,

Death is watching,

As the casket get buried,

The grave is quiet,

Flowers lay on top,

The men start lowing it down,

How a beautiful day,

Turn into sad moment,

Hours go by,

No one is joyful,

Their eyes are fulled with tears,

As their loved one forever in a peaceful sleep,

God has called them back home,

Where they feel no pain,

They will join the angels,

As they watch us live on,

Guilded us back home above the clouds,

Where we will too join the angels we loved.

Ishmael Balfour

I started to read poems when I was 10 years old and was liking writing poems each day. Years later my mom was happy and glad I was writing small books and poems but sadly I lost her when I was only 15 years old and Remember's Day was the day she passed. Since then it has been two years and I wanted to make a poem group on facebook so I did. Couple months went by and my school started a poem group too so I joined. Friends and teachers told me I made amazing poems couple of my friend said they cried and so did some of teachers too. I kept on writing poems and get 14 followers in my poem group but I wanted more. Now I'm here posting my poems to the world all because of friends, family and teachers for being there for me. Thank you all :) more…
