Reflection
Reflection
As she looked upon her self in the mirror she saw her eyes were empty.
The hint of sparkles now gone the beauty, brightness once was now removed.
She held a secret inside where no one could see her and her secret was deadly.
Inside her heart was literally torn, shattered in a million pieces.
To see her on the outside know one had a clue.
Due to the latest spout of humiliating words how they echo relentlessly in her throbbing head and hard as she tried she could not block the harsh words.
Her world once happy, full of life, hope was turning into a spiral of nothingness, hopelessness and her smile was fading.
She saw no hope felt no way out ,the blindness blinded her to the truth the real reality and she assumed she was beyond hope.
Her nightmare was reality .
All she could see was darkness and the light now barely a glimmer ,endless pain, suffering and for what?
All that was left of who she was was how he saw her.
There was no more her.
The script she was forced to play, hidden by makeup, constant fear that someone would see.
As she looked at herself in the mirror she saw a stranger with stained tears down her once youthful face.
The years of poor decisions stripped her of her smile, beauty and youth.
The words that were spoken were beyond cold, harsh and not a bit of it lied in truth.
She know longer believed in herself or her strength and she only saw his reality.
