Delicately made

She was a beautiful mystery.
I think she was a she?
Flapping her wings hovering
In front of me.
The delicate sculpted, see through wings dancing just for me.
Moving faster then a mere blink of an eye could see.
Mesmerizing me.
Then, to my surprise, she landed on me.
Her weight as light as a feather.
I could see how fragile her wings are, and how delicately made.
No human hands could have made.
No fear of me was in sight.
Tiptoeing closer to me
I could clearly see the vibrant colors in oranges, yellows, and browns.
This mysterious creature
Enthralled me!
Since I was small I had dreamed of this.
I began to speak softly.
Barely a whisper
with a year in my eye and a smile.
Can you please tell him
I miss, and love him too.
As soon as I was done magnificently
Flew off, and far from me,
carrying my message to the heavens for me.
