Raining Tears

It's raining tears, they taste of brine,
But they are my Mother's so that's just fine.
She's sending a message that she is well,
Using nature for me to tell.

Afraid to witness, afraid to cry,
To see my mother in time to die.
The pain the suffering, its all to go,
The problem being it was so slow.

But now the time has finally come,
For the briny like water to start to shine.
Her hands go cold, her skin goes grey,
The lord has taken her away.

Just a person who might have suffered more than his fair share of suffering but still lives to tell the tale. Found writing and writing found me. Everything I do is dedicated to my dear Wife and children Emma and Jamie and my mentor Rob Middlehurst. more…
