Play on Morality

As naturally as day is bright and night is dark...
And as absolute as it is pure,
It is without question, not easy and simple.
It is not a question of why or which,
Even as it answers the same...
And how and when. And what to who.
It lives in people to exist
In ways they do to themselves.
It dies in people that they live
In ways unimaginable of them as humans.
Like rain, it is a blessing
To a world dangerously parched and dry.
A commodity more precious than gold,
It is a diamond, and its sparkle
Is what makes a man or woman--
An animal like no other.
