Open Windows

My neighbors all have windows. Sometimes they let me in
by leaving their blinds open to see their venial sin.

One house displays the parlor, easy chairs in the round.
Friendly coteries gather, repartees here abound.

One house parades the bedroom, ample pillows piled high.
Candles burn sultry shadows, adult pleasures imply.

One house shows-off the kitchen, cookie scents in the air.
Freshly poured milk in glasses, children are happy there.

One house presents the restroom, soft towels drying on racks.
Clearly a comfort station, hot showers to relax.

One house reveals the dark-zone, furtive behavior crawls.
Scandalous machinations, secrets hide in the walls.

My neighbors all have windows. Sometimes they let me in
by leaving their blinds open to see my mortal twin.
