Oblivious
When the rain is falling on my window,
And there is nothing for me to do,
I close my eyes and listen.
Suddenly, I'm oblivious to everything around me.
pit-pat pit-pat
Rain knocks on my window.
How I long to let it in,
My soul reaches out to it,
Like I have this eerie connection,
No one-else knows about.
I'm oblivious to everything except the rain and my true existence.
I'm here, and then I'm gone.
Lost in the sound of rain.
