The Falling Leaves
You fall to the ground,
Slowly, but surely.
You are so beautiful,
With your ends all curly.
Reds and oranges and yellows
Fall leaves bring color to the once green trees,
For my love of fall,
I fall backwards in the leaves.
I do so love you falling leaves,
Blowing in my hair.
Crunching under my feet,
The sound you make is fair.
As you lilt,
I must say you're pretty,
Even when you're crushed
Under my fat kitty.
