Mystery

Elizabeth King

I don't know what you want from me.
I don't know what you want me to do.
I don't know why you can't leave me be.
You just keep threatening that we are thorough.
It pains me deep inside for all we've shared.
This just seems so coldhearted to me.
And was it too much to ask that you cared?
Now what remains of our friendship remains a mystery.
