Mrs. Fix-It

Mrs. Fix-It
a woman that can fix anything
cars, lawnmowers, dishwashers,
stereos, computers, and jammed trash compactors,
and much more
like Rosie the Riveter,
only in a navy blue dress,
puts new meaning to the phrase "Girl Power"

When she she shows up at the door,
the guys laugh in disbelief,
a girl who can repair machines,
there must be some mistake
by the time she gets through
she turns their doubts into truths,
repairs their broken goods at a reasonable cost,
$70 and an ice, cold Pepsi
just because she's awesome

Economics major
does it to pay for college,
lord knows the tuition isn't cheap

All the girls envy her
all the guys want to be with her,
but her heart already belongs to another,
she's been engaged to him for a year,
has a good head on her shoulders,
getting a degree in one field
and finding prosperity in the other
jack of all trades
move over, Mr. Fix-It,
there's a new missus in town,
and her name's Mrs. Fix it
