One school
several cliques,
a contest of popularity
to be or not to be
that is the question
will make a teen go mad,
losing their discretion

From the masses stands one,
one adolescent to rule them all,
in the face of adversity stands tall,
one who belongs to all social groups

Free agent
artistic, athletic, and intelligent,
makes the honor roll every semester
a good actor in the drama club,
and star athlete, MVP on any team,
has the best skills anyone's ever seen
has their own sense of fashion
knows the latest trends
likes sci-fi, RPGs, and chess,
a geek at heart, but to his peers still the best,
Christian, roman catholic by religion
can have anyone they want,
but stays away from sex,
practices abstinence

Free agent,
with their lives they're always content,
their time in high school limited,
no one can tell them who to be,
they're their own person,
a leader, not a follower,
in a clique, not a member,
but a free agent
