Mother - Revised
Born on the streets to a homeless whore
Whose god was a drug that was all she cared for
She was a bone skinny bitch on the verge of death
After 30 years straight on crystal meth
You could see her bones but that didn't matter
She was fat, needed lypo, according to her
And she'd have me collect men with cash money to pay
Let them know she was willing cheap and a good lay
At first I could deal try to understand
Maybe all she needed was a helping hand
But when I'd force her clean she;d begin to scream
And say so many things that she didn't mean
Like WHEN she gets raped its all my fault
When not IF as if she planned the assault
Beaten bruised and raped while pregnant
All the fault of her unborn infant
She'd blame me for everything she couldn't blame on my dad
I was the reason her life had gone bad
Then let her get high and she'd change instantly
From hate to love almost immediately
For the drug would hide her misery
Though only temporarily
And would always for eternity
Define her personality
I no longer cared nor believed what she said
As far as I was concerned, my mother - shes dead
30 years of meth destroyed her brain
And caused me a lifetime of abuse and pain
And without a doubt my mothers to blame
For my memories are forever and are always the same
But we share the same blood which makes one thing clear
If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here
So though I'll always see her as the bitch from hell
A part of me still cares and hopes shes well
And though I think about her every now and then
I don't care enough to ever see her again
