Mankind

Sown of man
Born of woman
Birthed with searing pains
Red blood in pulsing veins.
Beating hearts, lungs breathing air
All emotions flowing there
No matter the color of the skin
A human soul lives within.
And when the last breath is drawn
The living spirit passes on
Not one person shall be passed by
For all of us will surely die.
When the flesh returns to dust
Judged by the Maker, pure and just.
