Love

They say that love's a game we play
And that life is just a stage
Time's a book left on the shelf
With nothing on each page.
But time can wound and heal
The mysteries in each life
And love is the best way
To overcome the strife.
Everything has a meaning
In this world of confusion and fuss
You'll know the meaning of you and I
And then the meaning of us.
You may know the joy of living
And the tragic scene of war
But through all the hustle and bustle
Our love lives evermore
