Loved n Lost

For Robbin,

Its been so long since i could sit down and write
Pay attention to anything or fight the good fight
Its been so hard to think my mind out of control
And who'd of guessed it caused by a girl
But not just any shes one of a kind
The one that always crosses your mind
The one once you have you never let go
She just makes you happy you go with the flow
You wake up and you smile just knowing shes there
You feel complete like the perfect pair
The one whom youd walk a millions miles
For every minute your with her you cant help but smile
She completes your sentences knows you in and out
You feel so much joy you cant help but shout
To the world your in love inside your complete
Theres no one else out there who could ever compete
Shes the one you hold when shes sad cheer up when shes down
Be there when she needs you always stand ground
Shes the one you trust the love of your life
The one you grow old with as man and wife
Shes your best friend your lover everything and more
The one your not embarrassed to shed tears for
Shes my world and i never had a clue
Till i lost her and thats when i knew
The pain i felt was like never before
Hit like a brick knocked me to the floor
And every day she moves on shes in love with another
And i try so hard to just be there for her
Its what she wants to just be my friend
Best friends forever until the end
And we talk up a storm every day
Talk even when we have nothing to say
For shes still my best friend and she always will be
Just wish it was more for its so hard on me
To watch someone you love move on with another
And for her to not understand why its a bother
But i try for i love her with all my heart
And i feel bad wishing they would fall apart
For i know deep inside though shell never say
She still loves me and will till her dying day
Its what keeps me going that one day ill hear
Those 3 little words out her lips just once more

Its better to have loved n lost then to have never loved at all
