Limits

There are no limits to our dreams
There are no barriers to a single thought,
There is no irony in the fate we make
Or justice in the revenge that we sought.
There is nothing we want more than peace
A moment in time when all's not lost,
But for the reality that hold's us down
We never really consider the total cost.
The child stays not a child too long
Before they become prey in the hunters wake,
For a man is not a man before his first kill
So he must decide on that one shot to take.
In many man's dreams there is a fine line
A mark that must never be over-stepped,
As for this life as in the next one
There are limits and rules that must be kept.
