Shobha Raman

Love bloomed like a flower
Misunderstanding pierced like thorn

Memories were green and greeted with smile
Moment to part faded the colour and left in despair

Emotion gushed like waves
Ego veiled the feeling

Tried to speak but words choked
Clouds cleared and darkened the pang of separation
