kaleidoscope skies

Bright neon lights lit kaleidoscope skies
hypnotizing young lovers eyes
dancing as though in a trance
setting the scene for romance.

Two lovers hand in hand
left footprints in the sand
waves washed away all trace
hiding the presence of loves sweet embrace.

The moon ascended as the sun descended
and lights were replaced by stars
two souls ignited as passion exploded
they went on a journey to mars.
