I have a dream

I have a dream
 of freedom, peace, equality,
where man will love his neighbor
 sharing land
 under no ones command.

 I had a vision
in which man lived in unity
 no more war
 no barren soil
 no conflict
 no hostility.

I had a glimpse of the future
 there was no uncertainty
 man lived in harmony
just as it was meant to be.

My dream was not a fantasy
 my vision will come true
 I saw into the future
I returned to bring you truth.

I witnessed the pain and turmoil
 I watched as children died
I saw the greed that bought man to his knees
I looked on in dismay as seeds refused to sow.

 Weapons of mass destruction
 wiped dictators out
as the masses invaded the weapons and gases
and the world decided to stop paying taxes.

Governments had no one left to trade with
they drowned in their own debt
as the poor raised their weary heads
dollars and euros held no worth
 mother nature reclaimed the earth.
