In Your Dreams

When you slip into rem-sleep I slide into your dreams
with remembrances to keep of soul transporting themes.
If you feel a sudden fall I am your safety net
catching you in a close-call during this featurette.
In thin air you rise to soar, I am your thrusting force
taking you near heavens door, smooth gliding on your course.
Standing in the baking sun I am your cover-shield
helping you escape and shun those wanting you revealed.
Sinking fast below the sea, I am your flotation
giving you security for further rotation.
As you run without progress I am "hand" on your back
pushing for timely success while you race down life's track.
In heart pounding, mean nightmares I am your even keel
consoling you through the scares that often seem too real.
In dream movies you will find in symbols and disguise
I am your subconscious mind with truth to realize.
