I'm Not Falling (But That Would Be A LIe)
Falling hard,
but not falling at all,
into a hole with no bottom,
when it’s so much like rising.
In place of darkness there is light,
and it’s light, not weighty,
held up by something
accidently taken.
Fears gone
for the tiniest second,
embraced by yielding arms,
It's clear that home inches away.
So close, so near to hand,
now only to contact
the dream, a leap
of my faith.
