Trapped in the ice,
forced to watch the world
change and wither down,
watching, chained in cold.
Are you going to
cut me out?
A kindergarten project in the making,
will you sculpt me
into something different
before I melt away?
Carefully wield your tools,
please don’t bleed my flesh.

Kassandra Konecny is a lover of listening to music, hiking in the mountains, and observing the way people act. She began writing vigorously when she was fourteen and will hopefully never stop.
