I only see you in my dreams

I held you in my arms.
You kissed my lips.
I felt your soft black hair
slip through my fingertips.
With these same hands i
gently touched your face.
alone at last our bodies
did embrace.
I gazed into your eyes as you
tenderly looked into mine
and under the moon,last night,
our love,like the stars,did shine.
As i smiled you whispered into my
ear that your love with would never
die whether you be far or near.
As the sun comes up i see last
night wasn't all it seemed alone,
all alone i now realize that last
night was only in my dreams.
