I Don't Know You Anymore

I don't see you anymore, you've blended with the night
Like the stars after dawn
you've faded out of sight

I don't know you anymore, you've mixed a witches' brew
Like chameleons alter,
you've changed into a shrew

I don't hear you anymore, you've joined a raucous spin
Like thunder in a storm
you've mingled with the din

I don't want you anymore, you've turned beauty to ash
Like city-dump rubbish
you've landed in the trash

I don't smell you anymore, you've become common clone
Like the olfaction wane
you've lost lust pheromone

I don't kiss you anymore, you've caused lovers to dread
Like puckish courtesans
you've made your fickle bed

I don't touch you anymore, you've relinquished gestalt
Like pillars of Lot's wife
you've transmuted to salt

I don't heed you anymore, you've jabbered trite affairs
Like a monotonous drone
you've buzzed till no one cares

I don't love you anymore, you've splintered surety bond
Like unanswered curtain calls
you've failed to respond
