I crave you

I crave extraordinary you,
like that exotic bird has a need
to lose itself
in an alluring rain forest,
like that graceful mountain has a need
to rest its top
on a shoulder of a crying cloud,
like that orange fire has a need
to kiss a spark
before it becomes magnificent and powerful,
like that stem has a need
to hug the Earth tight
before it grows strong and starts to drop fruit back down.
I have a need to love you
in order for the planet to resurrect
and show its most beautiful side
to that radiant sun.
