Hideous

I feel angered deep in my slithering soul,
Keep your love, Burn it to keep you cold.
Color me comatose with your lies,
I drown my heart with screeching cries.
Your lips taste of matte black,
I loathe your never talking back.
I wish I didn't have to eat,
I wish I didn't have to sleep.
I wish I didn't have to see,
I wish I didn't have to breathe.
I wish the world wasn't so bright,
I wish I couldn't see the light.

Deprivation sets me far apart,
Batwings, and butterflies fill my heart.
I loathe the way I love me,
I'm drowning in a dead body sea.
I'm so ugly, Please look away.
Bulemia's here to save the day.
She took me in, When I was scared,
In the mirror I never stare.

She's so knowing of how I feel,
My creature like body is so unreal.
Sometimes I wish I could wear a mask,'
Hidden face, behind a flask.
I never want to eat again,
Theres sorrow underneath my skin.
I hate the way I feel at night,
My hideous self makes me feel alright.

Chante Abbott

My name is Chante' Noel Abbott. I am 20 years old and a West Virginia girl. I have been writing poetry since I was 6 years old. I have more composition books filled with words than I can honestly handle. I have a 2 year old son who keeps me going each day. What can I say, between my love for him, and these West Virginia mountains, I have enough inspiration to last a life time. <3 more…
