Grace

An unmerited favor is a "divine" embrace.
"Getting more than I deserve" is a defining grace.
Many good things in my life I never had to earn.
Genetic background was a gift I never had to spurn.
Moral values in my life I never had to feign.
Caring parents was a gift I never had to gain.
Full abundance in my life I never had to seek.
Food and shelter was a gift I never had to eke.
Proper healthcare in my life I never had to skip.
Healing balms and medicines I never had to gyp.
Classroom learning in my life I never had to mind.
Education was a gift I never had to find.
Solid friendships in my life I never had to sort.
Camaraderie was a gift I never had to court.
Gorgeous patrons in my life I never had to farm.
A sweet lover was a gift I never had to charm.
An unmerited favor is a "divine" embrace.
"Getting more than I deserve" is a defining grace.
