Frantic Fluctuations

Hands shake dimensions across the room's shades
as reflections of winter crash like glass:
twisted shards of another dead life trapped,
images of delusion - illusions
capture decomposition as laughter
scrapes the throat's escape; gargled attitudes
that scream nightmares into ghosts of decay.
Lost, found, lost once more in despair's bitter
confusion: streams of cool rippled manic
depression which pulls hair into mad shapes.

I could have murdered myself but it all
seemed so far away - this old blackboard scrape
that screeches insanity through love's breath.
Sparkled torture throws spikes of anguish out
to touch all who slip into wild visions;
oblivion crunches spirits under
its tattered feet while sinister looks grin
in slow manoeuvres; chains of circled hate.
And the night coughs stars into wide blue eyes;
flutters of broken aspirations spill
vomit from lashes which curl defeat's edge,
it's all plastic - melted complexity
that burns the sad soul's delicious colours;
frantic fluctuations of everyday.
