Forgiveness

Forgiveness is both taught and learned most
often when someone has gotten burned
Painful the lesson to thine scorned for in
your heart they've placed a thorn Release the
feelings that anger thee so your heart
can mend tenderly Teach love to those whom
inspire hate forgiveness is the path to
heaven's gate Unlock your heart so that you
may see FORGIVENESS holds the only key
In the end trust me the Lord will decide
Because one who tells the truth has nothing to hide
