First And Last

The first attempt was awkward. The last attempt was cool.
Everything in between was like a training school.
The first hello was awkward. The last hello was warm.
Everything in between was like a growing storm.
The first embrace was awkward. The last embrace was close.
Everything in between was like a mounting dose.
The first sashay was awkward. The last sashay was smooth.
Everything in between was like a swelling move.
The first romance was awkward. The last romance was true.
Everything in between was like a derring-do.
The first legend was awkward. The last legend was style.
Everything in between was like a testing trial.
The first instance was awkward. The last instance was bliss.
Everything in between was like a loving kiss.
The first allure was awkward. The last allure was fate.
Everything in between was like a caring mate.
