Farming and pollution

Amazing the situation and what is suggested,
Dairying has problems see what is requested,
Changing their lifestyle to keep soil right,
Enhancing the waterways keeping purity in sight.

Its considered vital to have proper control,
Look at waste and farming as a whole,
Six million cows all discharging gas,
Urine and methane it'll seep and dash.

Pollution the result be careful with stock,
Follow sound principles on your farming block,
Science and technology it hits the milking cow,
But think carefully about all other stock now.

Beef dry stock are almost the same,
Deer one million and they're considered game,
Putting these together you must turn to sheep,
Forty six million on farms flat and steep.

Those who wave any banner of green,
Should look further than what they have seen,
Proper farm management is the yardstick,

Be boldly assertive and rectify things quick.

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
