Dreams And Shadows

Sleep-dreams fade into daylight the same ways night-stars do.
Shadows escape in darkness leaving behind no clue.
Daydreams spawn hope at sunrise with a creative fire.
Aspirational design can ignite strong desire.
Glory endures for moments; buds widen, bloom and die.
Triumph is in the making when birds rise-up to fly.
Success is temporary; new challenge lies ahead.
Victorious achievement will often over-spread.
The perspectives of the young are endless future roads.
Suddenly comes twilight time with no chance for re-loads.
Life passages are fleeting and marked by brevity.
Even one hundred years is a short longevity.
Living well and just so long as mind and body yield
satisfactory results where self-direction wield.
Each personal history is drama to be told.
The legacy bequested is useless dross or gold.
Degenerative breaches gradually lead to death.
Dreamless sleep with painless peace may follow the last breath.
Integrity and honor is the ascendancy.
The ultimate conclusion remains in pendency.
