Double Mind

Upon second thought
people often find,
instead of single, they're of double mind.

One time they "feel" young,
next time rather old.
Sometimes they are shy, other times quite bold.

One time they "feel" fat,
next time simply thin.
Sometimes they are out, other times quite in.

One time they "feel" sick,
next time rather well.
Sometimes they are frail, other times quite swell.

One time they "feel" yes,
next time simply no.
Sometimes they are fast, other times quite slow.

One time they "feel" force,
next time rather foiled.
Sometimes they are fresh, other times quite spoiled.

One time they "feel" kind.
next time simply mean.
Sometimes they are filth, other times quite clean.

One time they "feel" great,
next time rather small.
Sometimes they are short, other times quite tall.

One time they "feel" joy,
next time rather sad.
Sometimes they are good, other times quite bad.

One time they "feel" peace,
next time simply war.
Sometimes they are small, other times much more.
