Discovery Channel Rant, That turned into a Chant

Watching Discovery channel tonight
And what I realized
What a stir
What a fright
Although I can’t blame them
The shows I could name them
Sons with guns
You want it custom
Here it comes
I’m not going to lie
What he wanted
It was sly
It was cool
But not for just
Some ordinary fool
Not just somebody
Like me or you
We want our cops
We want our rights
We want them to protect us
Through the nights
But we put them in harm’s way
Day by night
Night by day
When regular people
Are sold Assault rifles
Every day

You want your rights
You still have the whole menu
But Freedoms a powerful weapon
Don’t let it be it
That condemns you
But you shouldn’t be allowed
I’m not just being proud
I’m all for some
But some should be of none
The constitution has its context
Times have changed
And hatred is among this
I used to hunt
I wanted to fight
Matter a fact
I still just might
But I will tell you one thing
I won’t abuse this right

I grew smart through discovery
I learned in two ways
As a tiny kid
Through the TV
And t
He back yard as I play
I’m grateful for sons and guns
For what they taught me
But now is no time
To be cocky
I’ve known this for a while
But the guns
They seem to pile
Out on the streets
Fired upon our cops
As they embark along their beats
I’m not a liberal
I’m not a conservative
I think there’s a middle path
We all deserve to live
Within the law
Within our right
As the signatures
Were signed that night
