Cops wield a Billy-club,
robbers wield a knife.

Among cops and robbers each one has a gain.
Cops stage a mercy feat,
robbers stage a bane.

Among cops and robbers each one has a view.
Cops host a benefit,
robbers host a rue.

Among cops and robbers each one has a hope.
Cops use a set of laws,
robbers use a dope.

Among cops and robbers each one has a creed
Cops show a temperance,
robbers show a greed.

Among cops and robbers each one has a task.
Cops sport a uniform,
robbers sport a mask.
