Christmas Packages For Our Soldiers

Our hands are very busy now,
Before and after meals.
With boxes, ribbons, and pretty Christmas seals.
For we are sending packages
To our soldiers far and near
To share with them our sentiment
Of happiness and cheer
Our gifts are not expensive and
They may not fill a need.
But each reflects the gentle thought
That prompts a kindly deed
We hope each parcel that we ship
Will make our soldiers glad
And maybe this Christmas they won't be sad.
