Cheated

You blind yourself so you cannot see,
While others around you ran about free.

I beg you to wake and seek out the truth,
Again you blind yourself while dreaming of youth.

I plead, I scream, I beg and I pray,
But unto me, your attentions won't stay.

The crime is passion, but it's not aimed at you,
Understanding I am, for I've felt it too.

Heartache is hard and hurts to bare,
Your heart a victim of a rip, claw and tear.

Physical pain, soon after will come,
For lasting with most, quickly gone with some.

To help you and guide you, to help ease your pain,
I'll always be here for you, cause I've felt the same.
