Chains And Footsteps

My heart stays locked in this dungeon of mystery
my chained up feelings ...lovelife now history,
So dark and dank ...each footstep a nightmare
my deep tortured soul ...seeing you everywhere.

Here I have no windows ...I pray for the light
now you approach me ...I'll see you tonight
You're footsteps are gone ...I'm feeling no fear
though I can't hear you ...I sense you are near.

Whilst having these chains ...wrapped around me
I feel tied to you ...so good I'm not free
Imprisoned my soul is ...detained is my heart
do not let me go ...we must not part.

As I touched your soul ...you entered my mind
I still hold these chains ...the key I did find
When hearing your footsteps ...I lost my last tear
you unlocked my chains ...now hold I no fear.
