Caring After The Fall...
on the ground in disarray,
a fallen angel lays bleeding,
watered down with sweat,
exhausted under the sun's heat...
eyes closed with no sound,
tears falling; forming the ground,
filling a salty bottomless well,
from heaven his soul fell...
into the darkness of life,
beaten & whipped by its strife,
left alone on a narrow path,
witnessing all of God's wrath...
for miles; none are to be seen,
growing distantly, true love serene,
next to a tear filled river,
cold & alone, he shivers...
staring through blind eyes,
into everything under the blue skies,
all the people searching for a 'way',
this, during his dying day...
he reaches out,
grasping your doubt,
holding his invisible love,
that came with him, from far above...
