Butterfly

The caterpillar never dies;
it merely transforms
into gorgeous butterflies
from the larva worms.

Much like reincarnation,
without knowing death,
there is regeneration
in butterfly breath.

The human spirit never dies;
it merely rappels
into phantom enterprise
from the body shells.

Universal transition,
without losing breath,
there is an apparition
in corporal death.
