Bizarre Things To Say

The talking heads on TV
have bizarre things to say.
They euphemize misfortune to hoodwink or allay.
An "ultimate sacrifice"
brokers demise as "choice."
They euphemize casualty to respect or rejoice.
Astray people "went missing"
brokers absence as "ploy."
They euphemize disaster to obscure or decoy.
An "accident is working"
brokers intent as "crash."
They euphemize collision to slapdash or panache.
Bereft people "find closure"
brokers resolve as "peace."
They euphemize tragedy to placate or surcease.
The talking heads on TV
have bizarre things to say.
They euphemize misfortune to hoodwink or allay.
