A Dialogue...In Nomine Patri (2 of 2)

When he came to L.A.
"In Nomine Patri," and celebrated a high mass
At the Los Angeles Coliseum (and Dodger Stadium),
She had all the answers to all the questions
About our faith, and about this holy man.
She attended the mass with her sisters
By being glued in front of the TV set. And,
I've never seen her as happy and heard her as angelic...
Singing and praying along with the many thousands
Of devotees gathered to celebrate--LIFE
In this City of many skin colors, cultures and creeds.
And now that the man, my daughter thought...
In the beginning (of the year of his papacy) was "God"
Is in God's Heaven, and seeing and talking to Him--
Face to face, I believe that, as "the very best
Spokesman for all mankind--ever,"
He'll ask and/or beg that God bless planet Earth
And everything in it with much love, compassion
And grace--in perpetuum.
