One More Wish!
Mr. Issac M. Loven Sr. 1981 (Daytona)
Sometimes I close my eyes and wish that I could have you here,
Or plug up both my ears and wish your voice is all I’ll hear,
But when I open up my eyes, you’re nowhere to be found,
Then unplug both my ears and never get to hear your sound,
Your kiss is like a memory in my mind stuck on repeat,
I know you know this but you’re sexy from your head to feet,
I wish I knew the reason why I think of you so much,
Or understood the reason why I long just for your touch,
I know there are a lot of things I will never understand,
Like why I still have yet to be engraved into your plans,
Now I could tell you all the wishes that I wish would come true,
But none of them would matter, well at least they won’t to you,
I wish they would and wish they could stay with you in your mind,
Or somewhere in your heart so you can have them for all time,
Cause every word in every wish that I could ever make,
Is a wish that was well thought of and no one could imitate,
But any time I make a wish or just wish upon a star,
It seems that I am never in the same place that you are,
I know I’m not the only one that has a list of wishes,
That stick to me like glue or sewed to me with lots of stitches,
But in my dreams are how these wishes can all come to pass,
So here’s a few more wishes I will make before my last,
I wish I may I wish I might just have another wish,
I wish to have you close to me to wish for one more kiss,
But every time I see you all I can think of is this,
To have one more chance for one more time to have just one more wish.
