Me and You

From the first time that we met all the way up to today,
I know there are a lot of things we both wish we could say,
But circumstances have always kept us so far apart,
What I’m about to say I want you to keep in your heart,
Your eyes are like the stars, I love to stare at all the time,
Your lips taste like champagne or a very luscious wine,
The feel of your smooth skin feels like you have just bathed in milk,
And everytime I touch you I swear you feel just like silk,
With every smile that I receive while you are in my arms,
Is a smile of reassurance saying you are safe from harm,
But if I die before I wake I still want you to know,
That I’ll still love you forever so don’t ever let me go,
But as long as I’m alive you’ll always be my medication,
To heal me when I’m sick of everyone on this foundation,
So always keep in mind of the connection that we share,
And I still want you to know my favorite game is truth or dare,
Now here’s a dare I really wish that you would give a try,
I dare you to say that you will love me until the day we die,
Or here’s a question that I’ll ask you for and keep it true,
Do you think that you could ever love me more then I love you,
But enough with all the riddles and I’m through with all the games,
I love the way your voice sounds when I hear you say my name,
With every second of every minute that’s in every hour,
My love for you grows strong and always sweet but never sour,
And every day in every week or month in every year,
The words I love you are something from me that you’ll always hear.
