Moonlight Moon

Deborah 1955 (Summit)

There was a blue moonlight upon the sea
It swayed hesitantly around the green tree
At rich sunrise the elegant clovers came out to play
They sat there in the green fields covered in itchy hay
The air had been blowing gust of winds
Only to figure out that the trees had wings
They soared through the enchanted sky
Collecting gem rubies from way up high
Around the month of May
It had been a summer to stay
All the beautiful plants and gardens grew quick
They sprouted into the row of trees
Getting combined with endless time
The deep blue sea made the monkeys swim
Even though the water lights were way to dim
They swam under below a couple places
Rejuvenating themselves for the ongoing races
That had begun from blooming blue irises on a ledge
Until the pirate captain made the dozen walk right off the edge
Going into the water
They fell, tumbling down
A guy saw them, and he wore a king crown
He put it on for show and tell
To vanish straight to hell
He knew it was the wrong move
To take flowers that were well groomed
So, I let it go but he laid down in a restless row.
